All three are full of useful, practical advice, and are also fine examples of clean web design.
Riley Central is run by Damien Riley from California, USA. I loved looking at his photographs of Victorville, and enjoyed reading the description of the town in which he lives. Damien is another blogger who demonstrates good web design, too.
Let’s close with today’s second blog from Singapore, Missy Zee’s Zynamic Gala. I like how she uses the crime metaphor throughout the site: confessions, witnesses, close-up evidence. Very clever. Missy has just been through LASIK surgery on both eyes. I’m so glad to hear she’s feeling better, and that all went as planned.
Well, that’s all for today, folks. Have a good week!

Hey, thanks for the pingback, but I’m not from the US.
I’m swiss.
Feel free to suggest me something to look for on my blog’s database.

Maurizio, my apologies. I’ve amended the post to reflect the fact that you’re from Switzerland
But your BlogCatalog profile says that you’re from the United States, which is where I got that information:

This is amazing. I was actually doing the same thing when I came across your blog of course I call my Blog Stumbling versus a Blog Walkabout but the idea is the same. Hope you don’t mind if I include you in mine for today. Excellent work by the way.

Susan - cool! A nice coincidence.

Hey Baxter,
Thanks for the link. I am glad to hear that you like my site. In yet another coincidence I just started up a new feature where I will be linking to various articles every Saturday. I am actually creating a dedicated page to those sites that have something similar. I am thus going to add both this site and Susan’s site.
Thanks again. I hope everyone has a great day today.

Thank you so much for including me in your round up! I am flattered. I am passionate about beauty in all things and love to share that passion on my Marrakech-based blog.

I just registered with BlogCatalog and I think is really annoying to fill all those stuff.
I usually say where I come from just when I’m asked by a human being. People have some strange feelings about Switzerland sometimes.

Andrew: I’d recommend your blog to anyone looking to get into web development. I’ve been tweaking on the very fringes of PHP, but I haven’t gotten into CSS yet (though I bought a couple of books about both, I haven’t had time to read them yet). And I look forward to reading your recommendations on Saturdays; the spookiness continues!
Maryam: no problem. I really did enjoy your blog. I’d love to visit North Africa at some point. Everything looks so exotic and, well, different. Different lifestyle, different pace. I always enjoy reading blogs from anywhere off the beaten track. Great work!
Maurizio: Asking where you come from enables people to look up bloggers from a specific country. If I’d been looking for someone from Switzerland (and I do often browse by country for the walkabouts), I wouldn’t have found you! It also helps the BlogCatalog folk with demographics. And I can assure you that, personally, I have no strange feelings whatsoever about Switzerland, or any other country for that matter. The walkabouts always have an international perspective, which is quite deliberate.

Eh, I’m not that mysterious. I’m just too boring to describe. Also, I need to start watching movies that require less preparation work. Way too tiring!
July 10th, 2007 19:06
Lis, anyone who has only a single name (either first name or second name) falls into “mysterious” here
And I’m not surprised you’re tired after all you did!

Thanks for stopping by a few of my sites. You’ve got a great site here.

Baxter,
I hope that my CSS lessons have taught you a thing or two. After I cover a little bit more on CSS I am going to start tackling PHP, Javascript, and everything else that can come in handy for potential web designers. My hope is that I can turn those books of yours into reference guides only.

Susan: thanks for your kind comment!
Andrew: I’m looking forward to it already.
