BBC weatherman under cloud
Glasgow newspaper The Herald has reported that a BBC weatherman has described the Western Isles, the island group off the north west coast of Scotland, as “nowheresville“. Tsk tsk.

Speaking as someone who’s been there he’s not wrong in one sense - it is the middle of nowhere.
However its a rather nice nowhere, if only they’d stop dumping cars everywhere….

I live in “nowheresville” - preferable in many ways to “Urban-jungle-UK-hell”. Will never go back.
